What is the volunteering? What are the benefits of volunteering in our country?

The government in Emirates they establishment (Takafo voluntary social program)

The Emirates foundation (EF) designed the voluntary social program, taka, in April 2007 in order to create culture of volunteering throughout the UAE Takatof , which means shoulder to shoulder in Arabic community needs . Takatof they have a lot of projects volunteering in said the country. Example:

·         Volunteers in the hospital and health centers.

·         Hoses renovation.

·         Ramadan project to help families.

·         Beach cleanup.   

Also they have program out said country of volunteers its call ( sanid program ) .

Sanid is programming me that was developed by Takatof together with national crisis and Emergency Authority. Launched January 2010, sanid is an emergency response program me that enables volunteers to assist local and national authorities in event or crisis emergency ,such as earthquakes or industrial accidents The UAE citizens and residents are provided with the practical skills and knowledge needed to save lives and contribute to the situations – either as safety of others . Sanid offers a two – level training program me that enables volunteers to respond effectively to crisis situations – either as individuals or as member of a local team of the Emergency volunteers’ readiness corps. Furthermore, sanid volunteers learn how to help their family or friends in case of an accident or medical emergency, such as a stroke heart attack.
